Shipping Policy
SaleTurkishTowels.com (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a Turkish manufacturer and exporter of Turkish towels, bathrobes, blankets, bed linen and similar textiles. This Shipping Policy explains how we handle production times, delivery and responsibilities.
- Production Lead Time
1.1. All orders are produced to order unless we clearly confirm stock availability.
1.2. Typical lead times (after advance payment and final approval of all details) are:
- 3–5 weeks for standard towel, peshtemal and basic blanket collections,
- 4–8 weeks for custom jacquard, special colours, packaging or complex private label projects.
1.3. Exact lead time will always be confirmed in your proforma invoice or written offer.
- Shipping Methods and Incoterms
2.1. We ship worldwide from Türkiye using road transport, air freight, courier (parcel) or sea freight, depending on the order size and agreement with the buyer.
2.2. Common Incoterms we use include:
- EXW (Ex Works) Türkiye,
- FCA / FOB (for sea shipments),
- CPT / DAP (Delivered At Place), where we arrange delivery to the buyer’s country/address.
2.3. The applicable Incoterm and responsibilities are always stated on the proforma invoice and/or commercial invoice.
- Shipping Costs
3.1. Shipping costs are calculated individually based on:
- total weight and volume,
- destination country and address,
- chosen transport method and Incoterm.
3.2. Transport costs and conditions are clearly shown in the proforma invoice or written offer for your approval before payment.
- Customs, Duties and Taxes
4.1. For international deliveries, the buyer is responsible for all customs clearance, import duties, VAT and local taxes, unless otherwise agreed in writing (for example, specific DDP agreements).
4.2. We provide the necessary export documents such as commercial invoice, packing list and, where applicable, movement certificates (ATR, EUR.1 etc.) in line with the agreed terms.
- Delivery Times and Delays
5.1. Transit time depends on the destination and transport method. As an average indication:
- Road transport within Europe: approximately 5–12 days after dispatch,
- Courier/air shipments: approximately 3–7 days after dispatch.
5.2. These are estimates only and not guaranteed delivery dates. We are not responsible for delays caused by:
- customs, inspections or authorities,
- strikes, force majeure, extreme weather,
- delays or errors by the transport company.
- Transport Risk and Inspection
6.1. Risk passes according to the agreed Incoterm. However, we always pack the goods carefully and work only with professional transport partners.
6.2. On delivery, the buyer should:
- inspect the outer packaging, and
- note any visible damage on the delivery document with the driver present.
6.3. Any issues must be reported to us as soon as reasonably possible, together with photos, so we can assist with the claim process.
- Partial Shipments
7.1. For larger projects, we may ship in partial deliveries if agreed with the buyer. In such cases, each delivery is invoiced and considered a separate shipment for transport and risk purposes.
